PUBLIC SECTOR COMMITTEE
CO-CHAIR: Ellen Chubin / echubin@aol.com
CO-CHAIR: Julian Hammar / jhammar@cftc.gov

The purpose of the Public Sector Committee is to bring together attorneys who currently work for (or plan to someday work for) federal, state, or local government and present programs of mutual interest and specific applicability to them as government lawyers.

In 1999-2000, the Public Sector Committee hosted a series of free brown bag lunches on "Lawyering in the Federal Government." The lunches included presentations by guest panelists discussing "Litigation Opportunities" in the federal government, "Legislative and Policy Positions," and "Regulatory Agencies." Panelists included attorneys from the State Department, the Department of Justice, The Federal Trade Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the U.S. Sentencing Commission, the Democratic Steering and Coordination Committee for the U.S. Senate, and the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.

If you would like to help plan upcoming events, learn more about the Public Sector Committee, or offer suggestions, please contact Ellen Chubin , Julian Hammar, or Peter Green at info@badc.org.
