Held in the William B. Bryant Annex Atrium at the E. Barrett Prettyman U.S. Courthouse\, 333 Constitution Ave NW\, Washington\, DC 20001. BADC membership is not required to attend; the reception is open to members and non-members at their respective rates. \nQuestions: staff@badc.org. \nRegistration is open\, and there are two ways to register: on Eventbrite\, or by returning the registration and sponsorship form to staff@badc.org. Rates: judges and BADC Fellows complimentary; BADC member $50; law clerk $50; law student $15; government or nonprofit attorney $75; non-member $100. Judges\, Fellows\, law clerks and law students should email staff@badc.org to register or for a discount code. Register on Eventbrite. \nSponsorship. Two tiers cover this reception. Cornerstone Partner\, $4\,500\, is the only sponsorship covering both this reception and the 155th Annual Banquet & Awards Gala; it is available only on or before Wednesday\, October 7\, 2026\, the date of the reception\, and bought separately the two sponsorships total $6\,000\, so it saves $1\,500. Star Witness\, $1\,000\, includes five guest invitations to the reception. Both include your firm name in the program\, on the BADC website\, on all related materials and in all related publicity. DESCRIPTION:Registration & sponsorship\n\nThe Bar Association of the District of Columbia’s signature black-tie gala\, with a cocktail reception\, dinner\, and the presentation of the Judicial Honoree of the Year\, Lawyer of the Year\, Hon. Annice M. Wagner Pioneer Award\, and Young Lawyer of the Year awards. \nRegistration is open. The gala is not sold on Eventbrite: to register\, complete the registration and sponsorship form and return it to staff@badc.org. Gala rates are $175 for a judge\, government or nonprofit lawyer\, $275 for a BADC member\, $325 for a non-member\, and $3\,250 for a non-sponsored table of 10. Sponsorship. Gala tiers are Champion\, $5\,000\, for eight seats at a prominently placed sponsor table and a full-page ad in the gala program; Changemaker\, $3\,500\, for four seats at a sponsored table and a half-page ad; and Proud Advocate\, $1\,200\, for two seats at a sponsored table and a quarter-page ad. Cornerstone Partner\, $4\,500\, covers this gala and the October judicial reception together\, but only if committed on or before October 7\, 2026.
