Networking Opportunities
As a member of the Bar Association of DC, you’ll gain many opportunities to network with other legal professionals, and grow your network. In addition to our annual special events, we host various happy hour and networking events free of charge to all BADC members. So bring your business cards and join us!
Professional Development
Although the DC Bar does not have mandatory CLE requirements, we know that keeping up with the latest information in your field is necessary to achieve the success you seed. Members benefit from accessional CLE courses hosted by the BADC to keep them on top of the latest trends in the legal field.
Advocacy Opportunities
As a member of the Bar Association of DC you’ll gain access to advocacy opportunities where we put our heads together and bring positive change for the communities we all serve. Because the BADC is a voluntary bar association, we do not have many restrictions for advocacy and therefore can work directly with legislatures to bring meaningful change.
