BADC Sections
Smaller communities inside the Association, where members who share a practice area or a career stage meet, learn from one another, and take on leadership.
IP Section
Chair: Ralph Albrecht
A practice community for lawyers and judges working across patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and related competition issues. Its programming emphasizes dialogue among D.C. practitioners and the Federal Circuit, the ITC, the PTAB and USPTO, the district courts, and Congress. The Section also takes amicus positions on IP questions, backed by the Association.

Chair: Irene Rhodes
The next generation of the Association. YLS connects newer lawyers to the wider bar through service projects, professional development, and social events, and gives them a route into Association leadership early. Membership is open to lawyers who are 36 or younger, or who were first admitted five years ago or less.
